Asphalt Shingles

Asphalt shingles are the most popular roofing material in North Carolina. They’re affordable and easy to install while still offering 20-30 years of protection. Choose from 3-tab, architectural, or premium shingles. Click on the logos below to learn more!

Metal

Metal roofs are perfect for homeowners who don’t want to replace their roof ever again. Even though this material is more costly than asphalt, it pays for itself in the long run— often lasting 40-70 years!

Cedar

If aesthetics are your main priority, consider hand-cut cedar shake roofing. Wood roofs offer a rustic appeal and last up to 25 years. Keep in mind that cedar roofs require frequent, hands-on maintenance, so a synthetic cedar roof may be an option to consider. CeDUR Synthetic Roofing Products offer the look of a natural cedar shake roof without the demanding maintenance upkeep. Click on the logo below to learn more!

Slate

Known as the “forever roof,” slate lasts 100+ years!. It’s perfect for historic buildings or any property that can structurally support it. Slate is a premium-priced material and requires specialized installation.

Tile

Tile roofs are ideal for stylized homes. Not only are they attractive, but they also laugh in the face of harsh weather. Synthetic tile can last 50 years, while clay & concrete tile can remain sturdy for nearly 100 years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to worry about anything inside my house while the work is being done?

We try to accommodate all things required to make this process painless for the homeowner. With that being said, you do have a few responsibilities, such as:

  1. Ensuring any loose objects on mantles or in china cabinets are secure.
  2. Any paintings, portraits, china or mirrors that are on the wall and not secure should be taken down.
  3. If you plan on leaving your house, park your car on the street the night before.

How are all the nails removed from my yard?

We perform multiple sweeps of your yard with multiple magnets of various lengths to pick up all those nails.

What is the difference between 3-tab and architectural shingles?

The main difference is that 3-tab roofs are 1 layer thick and lay completely flat. Architectural shingles have an additional layer of asphalt applied to the body of the shingle. This extra thickness provides not only additional impact resistance but also helps resist against wind damage. The additional layers also give the shingle more depth which help make the shingle pop with shadow lines.

How long will it take to replace my roof?

Most asphalt shingle roof replacements only take 1-2 days! The timeframe may be a bit longer depending on weather considerations and the material you choose.
