Serving in the United States Army as a medic, Jordan Cox, owner of Roof Medic, had the opportunity to help hundreds of soldiers involved in traumatic events. This made a major impact on his life. During his years work in the roofing industry, he consistently witnessed the difficulty and often frustration that homeowners experienced when hiring a roofing contractor. The more he learned about the process, he quickly became one of the most respected and knowledgeable in the industry, specializing in storm recovery. Since our initial founding, our team has consistently grown, hiring more like minded individuals that share in his passion for helping people.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive growth in the Raleigh, NC area. If you are a highly motivated sales leader with a passion for excellence, we want you to be a part of our team!

Position Overview:
As a Sales Manager at Roof Medic, your primary responsibility is to ensure the achievement of sales goals and targets for our location. You will play a pivotal role in leading our sales team, selling directly to accelerate growth, and transitioning into a more strategic role as we expand. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining client relations, market analysis, and continuous team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Goals and Targets:

  • Achieve location sales goals and targets.
  • Sell 1-2 jobs per month until the company’s new location sales milestone is reached.
  • Serve as a learning opportunity for sales reps through shadowing.
  • Work with the district Sales Manager to define specific sales targets annually and evaluate quarterly.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
  • Ensure adequate training and goal achievement.


  • Host weekly training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Client Relations:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.


  • Deliver monthly sales performance reports, including metrics, challenges, and strategies.

Market Analysis:

  • Regularly evaluate market trends, industry standards, and competitor products.

Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Company’s roofing products and services.


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the roofing industry.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven sales track record
  • Proficient with CRM software, and microsoft office.
  • Valid driver’s license


  • Base Salary: $50,000 annually.
  • Commission: 4% on all sales personally closed.
  • Override Commissions: Earn commission on all location sales
  • Bonus Structure:
    • Annual Sales Achievement Bonuses based on exceeding sales goals.
    • Quarterly Sales Bonus for meeting or exceeding quarterly sales goals.


  • Vacation: Paid vacation as per company policy.
  • Company Vehicle: Provided for business-related travel.
  • Gas Card: Provided for fuel expenses related to the company vehicle.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • CRM: Ensure all sales interactions are logged in the company’s CRM system.
  • Feedback Collection: Regularly solicit feedback from clients.
  • Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing and production teams.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends.
  • Community Involvement:  Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and industry associations to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
  • Promotion of Ethical Standards: Advocate and reinforce ethical sales practices.
  • Lead Generation: Execute comprehensive lead generation strategies to ensure a consistent flow of potential customers. Assist with high-value leads or key accounts.
  • Continuous Personal Development: Participate in relevant workshops and courses.
  • Contract Negotiation: Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with customers, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance evaluations of sales team members, providing feedback and coaching.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the sales team adheres to all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
  • Safety Awareness: Promote safety awareness within the sales team.
  • Community Involvement: represent The Roof Medic in our events.
